Motorola Razr 70 Shows Up on TENAA, 6.9-inch Foldable Display and Dual 50MP Cameras Revealed

The Motorola Razr 70 recently appeared on TENAA, revealing a large 6.9-inch foldable display today.

The listing also suggests a dual 50MP rear camera setup, hinting at improved photography performance.

While still unofficial, the certification gives an early glimpse of Motorola upcoming foldable plans ahead.

A new leak around the upcoming Motorola Razr 70 has started circulating online after the device reportedly appeared on China’s TENAA certification database. Whenever a phone reaches TENAA, it usually means the launch is not very far away. The listing quietly revealed some hardware details. Not everything, but enough to give an idea of what Motorola may be preparing this time.

From what the documents suggest, the phone could feature a 6.9-inch foldable OLED display inside. That size sounds familiar because Motorola has used similar dimensions in earlier Razr models. Still, people expected maybe a slight change this year. Apparently not. At least based on the leak.

Interestingly, the outer screen details were not fully confirmed in the listing. That part is still a bit unclear. Some reports say Motorola may keep the large cover display design that wraps around the cameras. If that actually happens, the usability could stay pretty similar to last year’s design. But again, leaks are leaks. Things sometimes change before launch.

Camera information, though, looks more concrete. The TENAA certification hints at a dual rear camera setup with two 50-megapixel sensors. Motorola seems to be sticking with a high-resolution combination again. Whether the second sensor is ultra-wide or telephoto is not completely confirmed yet. The documents did not clearly mention it.

On the front side there might be a selfie camera placed inside the foldable display. No surprise there because most modern flip-style foldables follow the same approach. But megapixel details of the front camera were not clearly visible in the listing screenshots that surfaced online.

Performance hardware remains a mystery for now. TENAA listings sometimes include processor information but in this case the chipset details looked incomplete. Some tech watchers speculate it could use a newer Snapdragon chip, though nothing official has been confirmed yet. So that part is still guesswork.

Battery information did appear briefly in the certification data. The device may carry a battery setup around the 4,000 mAh range, split across dual cells which is typical for foldable phones. Charging speed, however, was not clearly mentioned. Motorola might reveal that during the official announcement instead.

Design wise the phone is expected to continue the classic Razr flip style. Thin when unfolded, compact when folded. Motorola has been refining this design over the last few generations and honestly the formula already works pretty well. The new model may just polish things further rather than change everything.

For now this TENAA appearance mainly confirms that Motorola’s next foldable is getting closer to launch. Exact release timing is still unknown. But once a phone shows up in certification databases like TENAA, the official reveal usually follows within weeks, not months. So the Motorola Razr 70 might show up sooner than people expected.
